Raised in Wolverhampton, Shadow of Light was part of the underground UK Garage scene that was rising in the 90s. He played vinyl sets on pirate station 106.3 Frontline FM in the high rises of Heath Town with well-known bassline and house DJs X5Dubs and DJ EJ.
